What a wonderful week with family and friends! Thank you all for sharing our wedding day with us! We truly enjoyed seeing you and we look forward to keeping in touch.  We are overwhelmed by the love and generosity of our friends and family and we are excited to send our thank you cards once we're back from our honeymoon. And now we're off to Kauai!

August 3rd: Friends and Family BBQ

Hello,

We've been reaching out to invite everyone on our list to a friends and family BBQ at the Mountain House on the evening before our wedding. Instead of the traditional rehearsal dinner, we would like to take this time to get to see more of our family and friends who have traveled from so far to join us for our wedding. 

What: Friends and Family BBQ

When: Dinner will be from 5:00 until 6:30, Friday, August 3rd.  Our rehearsal will be at 4:30.

*We've been talking to some folks down in Keene and we learned that the new cell towers are up and cell phone coverage has greatly improved.

Hotel Reservations

Just a heads up on booking hotel reservations in Lake Placid. There are hockey camps, rugby tournaments and a big lacrosse tournament happening the last week of July and the first week of August. Most places will require a two-night minimum stay. 

Update from Haley and Dave: New Address and Invitations

     
The big day is fast approaching and we sent the invitations earlier this week.  We also just moved from the apartment we had been renting for the last year to a neat little 1907 brick house in southwest Denver, only two miles from DU. It's been a good change to be in a home with a backyard and in a neighborhood with some character. The first tomato plants go in this week.

Kauai!

Honeymoon Fund

We will be taking a long-awaited trip to Kauai for our honeymoon a few days after our wedding.  Sandy beaches, snorkeling, hiking the Na-Pali Coast, waterfalls; it sounds amazing to us.  If making an experience like this possible is more appealing to you than the gifts on our registry, a donation to our honeymoon fund is the perfect gift.

Na-Pali Coast, Kauai

We've rented a cottage just north in Hanalei Bay and 

we are really looking forward to hiking this beautiful coastline.
